In addition to print materials, the library also supports information literacy by guiding users in proper research practices and responsible use of information.
One of the highlights of the Central Library is its Children’s or Kid’s Section, designed especially for kindergarten and elementary learners. This vibrant and engaging space promotes early literacy through curated books, storytelling activities, and a child-friendly reading environment that nurtures imagination and a love for reading at a young age.
Beyond being a repository of books, the Lyceum of Aparri Central Library actively participates in academic and community-oriented activities. It regularly supports school events, reading programs, research initiatives, and outreach activities, including the donation of reference books to partner schools and institutions. The Lyceum of Aparri Central Library is supported by a friendly and dedicated team led by the professional Chief Librarian, Mrs. Melinda B. Villariña, together with the Assistant Librarian, Ms. Lani Dela Cuesta, the IT Library Staff, Mr. Ronald L. Doctolero, and five (5) library aides. They work hand in hand to assist students, faculty, and visitors in locating resources, maintaining an organized and comfortable library environment, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Through their commitment to service and love for learning, the library team creates a welcoming space where everyone feels guided, supported, and inspired to read, research, and grow.

The library utilizes the Destiny Library Manager System, an automated library management system that allows accurate cataloging, smooth circulation, and quick searching of library resources. In addition, the library provides access to Gale Online Databases, offering reliable digital references, journals, magazines, and research materials. Through these systems, users can easily locate both print and electronic resources and enjoy a more efficient and user-friendly library experience.
